What is a school counselor?
A school counselor is a certified/licensed professional that provides academic, career, college readiness, and social-emotional support for all students. At Bexley, we provide individual and group counseling (as needed), classroom lessons using the Safer, Smarter Kids curriculum, and coordinate 504 accommodation plans.
About Us
Ms. Shellhammer (right) is the school counselor and the 504 coordinator for grades 1, 3, and 5. She is also the sponsor for the Sportsmanship Club.
Ms. Villegas (left) is the school counselor and 504 coordinator for grades K, 2, and 4. She is also the club sponsor for Buster's Buddies and Student Council.
